Hi everyone,

I am having some camera trouble, which will hopefully be worked out in the next few days. So, I don't have any pics of my boys from the week - and I know that's the real reason everyone visits this blog. Stay tuned and hopefully I will post an update and some pics in the next few days.

Pesach Break

Hi Again, Hope that you had a wonderful holiday. Ours was really nice. We were invited out for most of the yom tov meals, which was really great. We were in Bayit Vegan at our friend Josie's place for the seder (yes only one!) and then spent the last day of yom tov at my cousin's peaceful home in the Shomron. The rest of our Pesach was spent eating matza, cheese, and yogurt, hanging out in parks, bbqing at gan sacher, and seeing live music. The kids particularly loved the music festival in the Old City. Check out the videos of them enjoying below. We are all doing great and loving the summer weather! Joel is still off so we are trying to go on a few outings before he returns to yeshiva. Stay tuned! It's Been Way Too Long...

Dear family and friends, I hope that you are all well. It has been ages since I updated the blog. I don't think this even qualifies as a blog anymore, but I thought it would be nice to put up another post before our summer visit. I'm sorry that I have been so irregular with my posts this year. I found life to be really hectic trying to manage a job, the kids and the house. So, the blog fell to the bottom of my to do list. What's new with us? I recently finished my first year of teaching! It was a great experience, but it definitely kept me busy. I really enjoyed the work and got some great feedback from my students and the principal. I am hoping to teach some of the same classes again in the future and hopefully this will cut down on my workload. Joel is doing great and has started to learn at The Mir yeshiva in the mornings. It is probably the biggest yeshiva in the world. He learns alongside 1,000 other students - pretty intense. He is really enjoying the cha

UPDATE

Welcome to my blog! I'm pretty excited about it! I've decided to try out the blog thing as a way of keeping in touch with our family and friends around the world, while we are living in Yerushalayim. Hopefully, I will update it weekly with pics and updates from the week. So here's a quick sumup of the last month.... After bouncing around from one short term rental to another we found an apartment that we are really happy with. Funny enough it's in the same building as last year, it's a little smaller, but much more modern (no peeling walls and stained carpets!) and much better laid out. We LOVE the neighbourhood and slowly the apt is starting to feel more like home. Friends from the neighbourhood have been super generous/helpful and we've been invited out for almost every shabbos meal so far! The boys are doing great! Gavi is speaking a mile a minute and is a character as always. I am still searching for a gan (daycare) for him, but hopefully somethin
