Rain, Rain, Come our Way!

Hi again, Hope that this post finds you well. So I have good and bad news (nothing too bad)....The good news is my new camera charger is in Toronto. The bad news is I have to figure out a way to get it here ASAP!! So if you know anyone coming to Israel soon, please let me know. I miss posting pics of the boys and I also find it much easier to writeup these posts with pictures. So what's up with us? We had our first big rain tonight in ages! The weather here has been absolutely gorgeous, but I try and pinch myself from time to time to remember that Israel is not getting the rain it needs to fill up the Kinneret so that the country will have enough water during the summer months. Hopefully, we'll continue to have nice weather, with some weekly rain for the country. With such gorgeous weather we have been going to the big park across the street from Gavi's gan most afternoons right after gan. Its nice becasue Gavi has a little crew of gan friends and I have my little

Growing Up

Hi Everyone - Hope that you are all well and not too cold. We are all doing great! Unfortunately, I still don't have any pictures of the past few weeks. I can't seem to locate my camera charger, until now I've been borrowing someone's, but it's not working anymore. I have ordered a new one, but it may not be here for a few weeks. I will ask around and see if I can find one in the meantime. So you may have to wait a bit to see those adorable smiles. Koby had a big week. He spent his first morning away from mommy at a babysitter's home with 3 other babies. He did amazing!!! There was no crying at the drop off. Koby just got right in there and started playing with the toys and other kids. He even slept for an hour and a half in a different crib! The babysitter said he was such a joy and didn't cry the entire time. I was pretty impressed with him, as this was my first time leaving him with a stranger. Thank G-d both of my kids seem to be pretty ad

More To Come...

Hi everyone, I am having some camera trouble, which will hopefully be worked out in the next few days. So, I don't have any pics of my boys from the week - and I know that's the real reason everyone visits this blog. Stay tuned and hopefully I will post an update and some pics in the next few days. Lots of love, Rachel & Co.

Getting Into the Groove

Hi there - Hope that this post finds you well. We are all doing well here and I officially feel like we are getting into a groove. We all had a great week - Gavi returned to gan, Joel to yeshiva and Koby and myself got back to our little routine. Gavi is doing amazing at his gan! Not to boast, but the gan coordinator called him a little angel (just like his name). He is still with the older kids, but he may actually switch to the 2.5 year old group next week. We'll know for sure in the next few days. Koby is officially furniture walking! He's definitely on the move and at this rate I think that he'll be walking in the next month or so. He's more or less off baby food and eating more table food all the time. He LOVES bread and would probably eat it all day if he had the choice. We've started calling him a little bread monster. He even got his first taste of pizza this week! We also finally met our landlords this week and they are AMAZING!! They live in New
