Hi Everyone, Hope that life is going well. We are all doing well here. Jerusalem is buzzing with pre-purim preparations and energy. In Jerusalem the purim season starts on Rosh Chodesh Adar (the beginning of the month of Adar) which occurred at the beginning of this past week. On both days of Rosh Chodesh Gavi came home in costume. On the first day he was a daddy (although at first I thought he was a waiter) and the second day he was a clown. It was so adorable to see all of the preschool children walking around all dressed up. Gavi also switched to a younger group in his gan. His transition was pretty smooth and he seems to be enjoying his new group so far. Thank G-d Gavi is, for the most part, a pretty easy going, adabptable boy. He was really excited that he was chosen as the shabbos Abba this past week. This past week when the boys were in the bath, Gavi announced that Koby is his best friend. Hi there - Hope that you are all well. This past week was Tu Bi'shvat, a celebration of the trees. I think its actually the birthday of the trees to be exact. This may not be a significant event in any of your lives, but for a two year old who attends gan this is a big deal. Gavi has been singing Tu Bi'shvat songs for weeks and was really excited for the holiday. On the actual holiday Gavi had a party at his gan and they made fruit salad together. Check out his adorable project below! His teacher is so creative. The rest of the week wasn't quite as festive, as Gavi developed a sty in one of his eyes...not fun and quite painful. I can empathize, I had one this summer! So, I kept him home from gan for a couple of days. One day I took the kids to the science museum. I was finally able to get my hands on a camera charger!! So here are some pics of the boys over the last few days. Since I last posted, Koby and I attended a bris for an old friend's, Natalie Pakes (Gar), baby. Natalie had twins - a boy and a girl last week. They are so adorable and tiny! The bris was in Efrat, which is about 30 minutes from Jerusalem. Koby was a great traveler and guest. I was a bit nervous since he hadn't been in a car seat (or a car for that matter) since we arrived, but he was great. We were lucky enough to get a ride from someone who happens to live up the street from us! It was wonderful to share in a simcha and see an old friend! Lots of love, Rachel & Co.
