Chanukah has come and gone

Dear All,

Hope that you are all well and enjoying the holidays. As I look at the date of my last post, I feel pretty awful. I know I promised I would be better at updating the blog... I don't know where the time has gone!

We had a wonderful Chanukah break. The kids were both off gan for the week so I had the mornings to spend with them. I had to work in the afternoons, but we had enough time to get a special activity in each day. The kids really enjoyed lighting the candles each night with their respective menorahs that they made by hand at gan. They also really enjoyed getting some new toys (thank you Savta, Grandpa, Bubs and Bubbie Nellie), which helped entertain them throughout the week.

I just finished the first semester of my teaching job at EIE. Overall it went well, and I now have a month off before the next semester starts, with the exception of the SAT instructor course (through the school) that I will be taking for a couple of days in January. I am looking forward to my time off and it should be fun since we have a bunch of visitors coming!

Joel is doing well and enjoying his learning. He has had some very positive feedback over the past few weeks and feels really good about his future career!

Lots of love to everyone!

The boys really have a great time in the bath - although they manage to get me soaked half the time!

Some park shots. It gets pretty cool here in the late afternoon - the boys do get use out of their puffy coats.

Check out the menorahs the kids made at school. I was really impressed!
