Visit With Savta and Grandpa!

Hi Everyone,

Purim Sameyach! Happy Purim! Purim is actually just starting here. Since Jerusalem is a walled city (like the city of Shushan in the megilah), we celebrate the holiday one day later here.

Sorry that it has been a while since my last post. We had a busy and fabulous week with Savta and Grandpa. The kids really enjoyed reconnecting with and spending so much time with their grandparents, as did the grandparents! We spent lots of time in parks and eating out. The highlight of the week was a day trip to Old Yaffo and Tel Aviv. The weather was nice enough to hit the beach, which was such a treat. There are tons of pics from the week so I will let them speak for themselves (with my comments of course). Our only complaint is that the visit was too short!

More Purim fun and pics to follow. Hopefully in the next day or so.

Lots of love,

Rachel & Co.

Chillin' on the beach in Old Yaffo and eating some sand of course.
Testing the water. Gavi got soaked and was not too happy about this.

The adult workout park on the Tel Aviv beach. Gavi much preferred this to the kiddie park.

A family photo!

Bourekas at the shuk. Yummmmmmmmm
Purim Preview: Thomas and Tigger
Koby is not so into the hood as you can see.

Gavi has been wearing this costume around the house all week - he's slept in it most nights. He has also been referring to himself as Thomas and Koby as Tigger. It's funny.
Notice the Thomas hat in most pics
Park time!

Gavi would call this a "love touch". He's not so fond of these.

Gavi loving his chocolate milkshake.
